A hybrid is a combination of two adhesive chemistries. For example, LOCTITE® 4070 is cyanoacrylate/methacrylate hybrid.
LOCTITE HY 4070 cannot be dispensed using automatic equipment. It is designed for dispensing directly from the ready-to-use pack for smaller applications, such as repairs.

Hybrid adhesives do not require refrigeration. You may refrigerate before you open them, but they should not be returned to the refrigerator once opened.
