LOCTITE® STYCAST US 8000 is a flame retardant, flexible, low-viscosity polyurethane encapsulant, with excellent self-levelling properties and very good adhesion to different substrates. The potting compound can withstand high temperatures without degrading, and the low ionic content level prevents silver migration and reduces the risk of electronics short circuits and device failures. Its low-solvent nature minimizes CO₂ impact for a more sustainable adhesive choice. Ideal for transformers, PCBs and other insulating applications.
